This Privacy Policy describes how the Spiro App ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information. To ensure transparency and maintain your trust, we follow a "data-minimalism" approach, collecting only what is strictly necessary to run the app.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following information to provide core app functionality:

Account Data: Email address and password (passwords are encrypted and never stored in plain text).
Profile Data (Optional): A profile photo, if you choose to upload one.
Technical Data: Limited technical logs required for app stability and security.

What we do NOT collect: Location data, contacts, or browsing activity. Payment information (processed securely via Apple). Advertising identifiers (IDFA).

2. AI Processing & "Anything AI"

Our app is built using the Anything AI platform.

Purpose: Data is processed through Anything AI strictly to provide the app's functional features (e.g., content generation or data processing you initiate).
AI Training Disclosure: Your personal data, including your email and uploaded content, is not used to train Anything AI's global models or any other third-party machine learning models. Your data remains siloed within our app's specific environment.
Instruction-Based: Anything AI acts as a data processor and only handles your information based on our direct instructions.

3. Account Deletion & Data Control

In compliance with Apple's requirements, we provide a straightforward way to manage and delete your data.

In-App Deletion: You can delete your account at any time by navigating to Settings > Account > Delete Account. This action is permanent.
Email Request: You may also request account deletion by emailing us at affiliates@spiroemf.com.
Effect of Deletion: Upon deletion, all personal data (email, authentication records, and photos) is permanently purged from our active databases within 30 days, unless a longer retention period is required by law.

4. Regional Rights (GDPR & CCPA)

Depending on your location, you have specific rights regarding your personal information.

European Union — GDPR

Legal Basis: We process your data based on the performance of a contract (to provide the app service you signed up for).
Your Rights: You have the right to access, rectify, or erase your data ("Right to be Forgotten"), and the right to data portability.

California — CCPA/CPRA

Right to Know: You may request a list of the categories of personal data we have collected.
Right to Opt-Out: We do not "sell" or "share" your personal data as defined by California law.
Minors: We do not knowingly collect data from residents under 16 years of age.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard safeguards, including:

Encryption: All data in transit is protected via SSL/TLS encryption.
Access Control: Internal access to user data is strictly restricted to authorized personnel only.

While we use robust security measures, no system is 100% secure. We encourage users to use strong, unique passwords.

6. Children's Privacy

The Spiro App is not intended for children under the age of 13. If we discover we have inadvertently collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it immediately.
